Express Entry Program

Express Entry is an online program that is used for application management for permanent residence for skilled workers in Canada. Once you submit your online profile, the Federal government will use an algorithm to assess and score your profile.

Fulfill the requirements

Candidates who fulfill the requirements are invited to the Express Entry pool, and their CRS rankings are determined using a points-based system (CRS). The Comprehensive Ranking System is a points-based system utilized by the government to evaluate and rank candidates in the Express Entry pool. A candidate’s age, education, work experience, language abilities, and other criteria are used to calculate the CRS score.

How to submit your Express Entry profile?

Here is a step-by-step guide to applying for the express entry:

First, you need to determine if you are eligible for express entry.
Obtain your educational credential assessment (ECA) and language testing.
Submit your profile for immigration purposes (Refugee, citizenship).
Wait to see if you can receive the ITA (invitation to apply) for permanent residence from IRCC.
Submit your completed Application for Permanent Residence (APR) to the IRCC, along with all required fees, by the deadline. This stage includes a medical examination and police certifications, which you must submit. An Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) will be provided to you by IRCC as a result of this step.
Submit your IRCC once required.
Wait for IRCC to decide on your APR. IRCC wants to complete applications within 6 months.

Once IRCC approves your application, you will receive a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR). You will need to bring this document and your passport when you travel to Canada. You will also need to give your biometrics (fingerprints and photos) when you arrive at the port of entry.
